Mahogony Strat.....Just Because

This was first and formost a finishing project.  I used a furniture sequence on this guitar to make it rich like high end furniture and the results were quite good.  The grain is 3D, so it shifts with the light and angle of view, like a nice flame top.  Think Silver Sky, with the diagonal diamond inlays like the old Ibanez necks, and Bill Lawrence (Wilde) L-90's with variable splits and Kinman treble bleed.  It was a challenge to build but satisfying too.  I haven't seen anything quite like it, which was the goal.
